I am not THAT kind of Gal that would ever cry in the middle of a fabric store

BUT

If I were....

If I were THAT kind of Gal I might just tell you how I went to buy some more felt today...

{I am kind of obsessed with making felt flowers right now.}

If I were THAT kind of Gal I might just tell you that while I was waiting my turn to get my fabric cut I started to talk the man next to me. He was a sweet older man with salt and pepper hair. I noticed that he had royal blue velvet in his cart. My intrest was sparked......

So, If I were THAT kind of Gal I might have asked him what he was making with it.

Then he might have just told me that he is a police officer and that his K-9 partner just had to be put to sleep. He was getting this fabric to put his ashes on so that it would be nice and soft for him to rest on.

If I were THAT kind of Gal I might just tell you that I started to tear up as he told me all about Benny and what a faithful companion he was. I might have even given this stanger a hug as he explained the beautiful memorail he was putting together in his honor.

BUT since I am not that kind of Gal that I guess you don't have to worry about running into me in the fabric store.
