Dear Lady at Ikea.......

I just wanted to say that maybe, just maybe you might want to start watching what you say to strangers in the food court at Ikea. Yes, like when you looked at me while I was feeding my little boy through his G-Tube  and you said "Are you sure it is  appropriate to be doing that here???" I was nice and replied "He is just eating." BUT if you said it to the wrong person {ummm... like maybe his protective Daddy} they would not have been as nice. I also didn't want to draw attention to you becuase my daughter who was sitting at the table didn't hear what you said and well for your sake I didn't want her to know. She has been known to yell things at people like "what is your problem he's just a handicaper!!" or  "WHAT!?!?! he's just eating a milk shake!".  So, next time you are out in public and you are tempted to say something that isn't polite well maybe you should just walk away.

Yours truly,
A Mommy that has to deal with rude comments all of the time

You go, girl! I wouldn't have been as nice, either. You are amazing, sis. Hug that boy for me and tell him I hope he enjoyed his lunch at Ikea! Love you.

I cant believe people sometimes! You gotta be tough for your little man there and let people know when they are being rude!

You KNOW what I would have said (with my mouth). What a lousy thing for her to say. Was she one of those parents whose kids run around yelling and getting into everything? Now THAT'S inappropriate!

I can't imagine what that woman thought you were doing wrong. For goodness sakes, aren't you just sticking some liquid in a tube?

Oh, that makes me so mad! Some people just don't get it. Good for you for being kind. I'm sure you wanted to smack her her in the mouth, but you didn't. Just know for all the rude comments you get you have a bunch of people that love you (even people that haven't met you:)

Too bad you are such a good person. She could have used the bird! ;) Just kidding, Jesus always tells us to turn the other cheek, but I've always been a hot head! I'm sorry. If I were there, I would have given her a what for, for you. You are a very good example for the rest of us...and her. I'm sorry that happened today. If it makes you feel better a man at Costco looked at me and my kids and said, "nice litter."

you know julie, some people just cannot see past their own nose. its sad, but so true. im sure that your polite mannerism has taught her a thing or two. sometimes it takes kindness to beat down the evil doers... your such an example. dont allow her ignorant comments bring you down. obviously she has never had to serve another besides herself in this world. poor lady when you think about it.

So mean but great way to vent and great job killing her with composure. I think people that have the nerve to speak rudely are better put in their place with rational comebacks. How is the G tube going? Is COllin putting on weight? BTW your pictures are beautiful.
