Love letters

Happy Love month!!!!
I thought I would write some love letters this
 month to celebrate all of those that I love.
{Today I went to a beautiful luncheon put on by one of the wonderful
women from our church. This special lunch was put
together to spend time with a friend that moved away.}

Dear wonderful women in my church {ward}-

  As I sat there at the table with all of you wonderful women my heart burst with love. You have each taught me so many import lessons. You have shown me how to be a mother by your example. You have taught me the importance of service as I have seen you serve those around you. You have been examples of the importance of continuing to educate yourself in all areas. You have shared spiritual experiences that have molded your testimony in Jesus Christ. You have set a goal of always having great fashion no matter your stage in life. :) You have held me as I cried in your arms. You have held my sweet boy and comforted me in the hospital. You made quilts for both of my babies that they laid and played on every day. You brought meals to my home after surgeries, when Bubba was ill, or just because. You taught me how to help run a PTA. You have watched my son at church so that I could be spiritually fed. You have baked the most wonderful goodies for our family. You are an example of what a good wife is. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful women. I think to often the younger women tend to cling to the younger.... Oh, but they are missing out. There is so much to learn from those that have already been were I am today. I am so grateful for the love and example that each one of  you are to me. I love you and feel so blessed to have you in my life!!!!!
BIG HUGS,
on lucky friend

isnt it wonderful to part of the sisters of zion? to know that those women you spend your time with would go to the ends of the earth to make sure your children are safe and would never turn their backs on what is true. they are virtouses and would do what is right and they would lead you to the water of knowledge... to know that your safety net (your virtous friends) is a place you would want your children to spend their time im sure helps you sleep soundly at night. what a blessing it is to be a part of the sisters of zion.

How sweet! I agree, because the younger women tend to stick to the younger women, we do miss out. How lovely that you have all those wonderful women around you!

What a lovely post! I know it makes me happy that I have friends of all ages and I know that I learn important things from them daily. We should all strive to be ageless in our friendships. It's the way to learn the most about life, love, loyalty, service and survival. Benefitting from the counsel of elderly women is a SPECIAL blessing. They have so much to offer in terms of wisdom the young haven't discovered yet, and their compassion is boundless.
