Be careful what you wish for..........

Yesterday as we sat at the Symphony I looked  at my friend, Jamie.....
 with her little girl in her lap cuddling.
I then said....." Oh, I wish Bubba would still cuddle me like that!"

Well, be careful what you wish for.

Bubba was not feeling well yesterday....
just the beginings of a little cold.
We still went to the symphony mainly because I had offered to
 drive Bubba, his buddy, and an aid {the amazing ms. Sherill}
After we took them back to school yesterday morning we headed home.
This morning I kept him home and wanted to keep an eye on him.
{he also has an infection at his g-tube site and is on atibiotics for that}
NOTHING is SIMPLE when it comes to TTD.
So, this simple little cold turned into Bubba vomiting from the mucus.
The vomiting made his sweet little body very tired.
Then he started to seize.....
like I said NOTHING is SIMPLE when it comes to TTD.
I had to give my baby an injection of valium.
Then he fell asleep in my arms and we cuddled.....
all day long.

I then told Jason.....
"man, I feel bad that I wished for Bubba to cuddle me.....
I never would have wished for this."

Oh but he's SOOOOO sweet. I hate that it had to be like that, though. Poor baby.

UGH! I hate that it's so rough on him to be sick.

Praying... for a complete recovery from infection, for healing, for restoration and strengthing of his body. For balance and for wisdom for all the decisions you make.

And THANKFUL, for the love that you have for eachother. For the gifts you are to eachother.

Do not feel badly for the innocent wishes. They aren't connected at all to Bubba's new troubles. If you hadn't had the wish, you STILL would have cuddled him when he was ailing. Bottom line: mama is there to cuddle her boy whenever he needs it. The pictures show a mother's love for her child so precious it's heavenly. Saying prayers for your sweet Bubba's quick recovery.

Oh, I hope you don't mind me popping into your blog. I was just checking in on my niece, Angie Harding's blog tonight and noticed your post. The way you wrote put a certain feeling into my heart that led me over here. I am so grateful to have spent some time reading through some of your most recent posts. I think I needed to read some of your posts tonight. Thanks so much for your spiritual insight, for your genuine uplifting attitude. I think you are blessed too!
