When we got to Disney Land I took Collin into City Hall to get a new assistance pass. The woman was VERY sweet to us. When she saw the type of pass Collin had her entire attitude changed. It went from a tired Disney employee to a sweet heart. Collin's assistance pass is for Make A Wish kids and those fighting life threatening or terminal illnesses. Yes, in other words he has a "golden ticket" as they refer to it. Anyways, this sweet Disney employee asked if we were celebrating anything special today. I looked at Collin with his huge smile and replied "we are celebrating a good day!" The woman went on to ask some questions about Collin's illness and the rough time he has been having. When I told her that Disney was the best medicine we had been able to find she got teary eyed. It was a wonderful day! I guess at the end of the day it is true... all you really need is faith, trust, and a little pixies dust!
