On Friday , yes, Collin is a 4th of July baby, Collin will be eight years old!! I can't believe it!! We were told that he would not eve make it to one. Now look at him. Collin was born at 32 weeks and it was one of the scariest days of my life. I new he would be small but no one could even begin to prepare me for what I saw. He looked as if he had been burned in a fire. It was heart breaking. He was such a tiny sweet little thing. I couldn't even hold him for a week. He has a strength and determination that is amazing. He is truly my Hero!! I hope that some day I can be half as perfect as he is today!
I thought for his eighth birthday I would list eight fun things about Collin.
1. Collin LOVES what hurts him the most.. being out. His favorite and only word is OUGGGG!! This means OUT!
2.Collin LOVES the simplest things the most... like singing cards and bubbles.
3. Collin LOVES to paint!
4. Collin is an AMAZING brother!
5.Collin LOVES to bake. He will drag the mixer over to me to let me know that it is time to bake.
