{12 wonderful years}

Day 11: I LOVE what an amazing Dad he is!!!

Seriously, I have never seen a father more devoted and in love with his children.

While I am writting tihs He is on a Daddy Daughter date night to a local football game.

{Oct. 15, 1999}

Day 12: I LOVE that after 12 years he is still by biggest suport, cheerleader,

and LOVES me more than I could ever imagine.

Now, on to our fun trip.

We got on a boat and were off!

We went to drum roll......

Catilina Island.

I am sure a lot of you that live around here are thinking it's no big deal, it's only an hour boat ride away. I have lived here over 12 years and have NEVER been. So, for me it was a big deal. :) While we were on our way to Catalina Island we saw a pod of blue whales!!! They were so beautiful!!!! 

Soon after we got to the island it was time to play.

We got our gear on........ 

and took a bus ride up to the top of the mountain.........

and well, there was only one way down! 

Since it was Jason's birthday he got to go first out of our group!! 

and since I was with the birthday boy I got to go second!!! 

It was AWESOME!!

We went from the top of a mountain down to the ocean. 

We are already planning our next trip back.

We want to take Bubba on the zip line.

I know he will LOVE it and our guides {that were awesome}

 told us that he can go tandum {strapped} to us as he goes down.

Later that night we had dinner.....  

and watched the sunset from our table.

{Jason made sure to get us the most romantic table possible} 

It was a full moon and was so beautiful!!! 

The next morning we walked around the island and explored. 

and then just like that we were back on the boat headed home.

It was an amazing 24 hours!!!

Thank you Jason for planning such a fun and amazing trip!

 I LOVE you with all of my heart..... forever AND A DAY!

I'm back!

Hubs and I snuck away on our little 24 hour get away yesterday.

Oh, it was awesome!!!!

He did such a wonderful job planning it all.

Seriously, how did I get so lucky????

I am tired but I will leave you with this fun picture....

Nope, we didn't go to Disneyland... wink!

Day 8: I LOVE how much FUN I have when I am with him!

Day 9: I LOVE his sweet dance moves!!!

Jason and I met at a dance..... He made a bet with

a buddy that he could get my number.

and well.... he won! wink!

Day 10: I LOVE that he LOVES Disneyland!!!

I think it is a MUST in our family to LOVE disney.

{our first "offical" date was to Disneyland and he bought me an annual pass. He told me later that he figured that it would assure him at least a couple more dates. wink!}

I {heart} Sundays

I LOVE Sundays!

I LOVE waking up and going to church.

I LOVE getting my "spiritual bucket" filled for the week.

I LOVE lazy afternoons and fun family time.

I LOVE moments like this..........

Daddy and Regan playing NFL Monopoly together. 

She is one smart girl she bought the Cowboys right off the bat! 

I LOVE when Bubba will cuddle me while we play his video game. 

His little hands don't work very well and he gets frustrated and wants help.

{don't jugde my Sunday comfy uniform.} 

I LOVED making Hubs birthday cake withe the kids.

Regan did a great job.......... 

while Bubba on the other hand..... :-/ 

He would not hold the knife and would much rather use his hands.

He even tasted it!!!

ummm, I am sorry I didn't tell you about Bubba's "help" with the cake! wink!} 

I LOVED making our traditional birthday banner. 

I just LOVE spending time with these cuties that I LOVE so much! 

Double bonus is....

Sunday + a good day for Bubba= complete joy

Can I just tell you something???

Ok, here's something funny, Hubs NEVER read my blog before.

I showed him my recent posts about why I love him.

Then the other day he says to me..... "what no day 5?!?!?"

So, lesson learned..... if I want Hubs to read

my posts write about him! wink!

Day 6: I LOVE that Jason happily shares his birthday with our wedding anniversary. His birthday is just three days before the day we got married. It seems like every year we end having our get away on his birthday and he doesn't mind one bit.

Day 7: I LOVE that he has a testimony of God and of Jesus Christ. I LOVE that he holds and honors the priesthood and is able to bless our home with it.

Day 5: I LOVE how hard Jason works for our family!!!!

Seriously, he works ALL of the time and has a CRAZY schedule!!

Most of the time I feel like this...............

about his schedule BUT I can't complain becuase he works so hard to provide for our family.

His hard works makes it possible for me to be able to play

with the kids and do all of the fun things that we do. : )

Today while Daddy was working hard we went and

played at the Aquarium of the Pacific.

I LOVE fun days at the Aquarium!!!

 The only thing that would have made it better.........

if Daddy was with us!

Day 3 and 4

Day 3: I LOVE that after 12 years of marriage I still LOVE kissin' him!

I also love that he never goes to bed with out kissing me

good night and gives me a kiss every morning, even

if I am asleep, before he leaves for work. :) 

Day 4: I LOVE that he makes date night a priority still.

We go out as often as we can get someone to watch our sweet kidos.

Next week we are getting away for a bit to celebrate

and he has planned the entire thing!!!

I LOVE that about him!!!

(he did that LAST YEAR too remember??)

I mean seriously, what would we do with

out one normal person around here??
