{Hello Monday}

Oh, this is the kind of post that I LOVE to write!!! We had a beautiful three day weekend together and all three days Bubba felt good!!!! I know I am teary just writting the words. It has been a long time since we have had that many good days in a row. So, that explains why I am just now updating. :)  We were to busy having fun! Friday night, after Regan's hard day at school and break down, we went on a Date night. We got frozen yogurt and did lots of girl talk.  :) It was just what we both needed.
Saturday I had to work, taking pictures of beautiful people, such a hard job! Hubs took the kids to see Uncle Bill and then they did a little shopping. {no pictures.... hubs will NOT take pictures.... I think I torture him} I got done with my first shoot and got to come home to a quite home.... WHAT!!! ... a quite home!!! I KNOW!!!!  I took full advantage of this time... I vacumed with out holding Bubba, swept with out holding Bubba, folded laundry with out holding Bubba... ok, you get the picture. It was NICE! I can't remember the last time Bubba went to school and I had a quite home or empty arms. Later that day we ran to Costco. Bubba LOVES the cold room at Costco, LOVES it!!
"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."
 -- Robert Brault
It was AWESOME to see Bubba LOVING that good ol' cold room. :)

Saturday night Hubs and I got a Date Night Baby!!!! Thank you Nana and Pa Pa!!! It was very much needed and so wonderful!!! :) Sunday Bubba was feeling good and we were able to go to Church as a family!! WAHOO!!! Jason and I have been having to take turns with this one. It was wonderful because Hubs was getting set apart in his new calling at church and I was grateful we could all be there to support him. :)
"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish He didn't trust me so much." (Mother Teresa)
After Church Cousin Andrea came home with us and the girls got to have lunch and play together. I LOVE that Regan has a cousin so close to grow up with. :)

I kept thinking last night that today would for sure be a hard one.... I mean seriously, could it really be possible to have three good days in a row for Bubba? But then when I woke up to this....
 and this....
I knew it was going to be another good day!!!! :)

To us, family means putting your arms around each other and being there.

I am not sure what tomorrow will bring {ok, yes I do.. more dr. apts} BUT today was a good day and that is all that I can ask for!!!  This weekend has been a such a sweet and loving gift from God to our family. It was just what we needed. No big trip to Disney {Bubba is not up to that yet} but we were happy!!  We did not worry about tomorrow... next week..... or a month from now, if we would have done that we would have missed out on some pretty awesome memories. To most people these awesome memories might have seemed... typical... unspecial.... or even boring BUT to us they were magical! :)  Be grateful. Every day is a new canvas—a new opportunity. Our beloved President Gordon B. Hinckley has said: “My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we ‘accentuate the positive.’ I am asking that we look a little deeper for the good, that we still our voices of insult and sarcasm, that we more generously compliment and endorse virtue and effort”  I am grateful for our hard and trying days. If it were not for these days I don't know that I would be as grateful for the good ones.

{Today}

I find myself being asked this question alot lately....

"How is Bubba doing??"

Well, the answer to that question depends on the day, the hour, shoot the  minute at times.

This past couple of weeks I have had a mantra ....

Just make it through TODAY.

"The BEST thing about the future is that it comes ONE day at a TIME." Abraham Lincoln

So, TODAY when I saw this......

I knew it was going to be a good DAY!!

I grabbed my cell phone and started taking pictures and sending them out to the fam.

"It is a GOOD day Baby!!"

I kept taking pictures and sending them out.....
WAHOOO it's a good DAY!!

I can't even tell you how excited this tired Mama was to see that great BIG smile!

He only slept in until 10:30 today....

He woke up with enegry....

He was able to sit up on his own....

He was HAPPY....

It was going to be a good day!!!

And then if that isn't good enough..........
Bubba was still feeling good when his BIG lil' sis got home from school.

She was so excited to see Bubba happy!

Then Bubba found Daddy's X box remote and turned it on.

He thought he was pretty funny.....

Yeah, so did we :)

Even Stanley loved having Bubba up and happy.

My heart SMILED a ton today.

I am not sure what tomorrow will be like

 BUT

I know that {TODAY} was awesome!!

and we celebrated..........

Why is it that most of us wait until something HUGE happens to celebrate? Well, not around here. Bubba has had a VERY hard month, one thing after another. He made it to school only a hand full of days this month. Yesterday was a hard one for Bubba and for his Mommy. He was in a lot of pain, he cried... I cried. There is a lot going on with his sweet little body right now and I won't go into all of the crummy details but TTD stinks! ... I HATE it and I hate watching what it is doing to my baby, it is progressing and with that means more tears. I was so happy when Bubba woke up feeling good this morning. We took Regan to school, came home, gave him his meds and hooked him up for his morning feed. He was not 100% but he made it VERY clear that he did not want to be at home. First he went and grabbed his shoe and brought it over to me then I looked over to see that he had pulled to stand and was trying to get his hat off the coat rack. I went ahead and let Bubba go to school. His teacher could tell that I was nervous when I dropped him off. She kept reassuring me that she would keep a close eye on him and call me the second she became worried. I came home, took the dog for a walk, got a shower (woot woot!), and had a lunch date with myself. Then around 12ish I got a call from Bubba's teacher letting me know that he was very tired and that there were very few smiles. I am grateful that Bubba has such an amazing teacher that is so aware of his needs. So, rather than be bummed that Bubba go so tired so quickly we CHOSE to celebrate the fact that he made it to school today and that he was there for a good portion of it.
Hubs got himself an early Christmas present on black friday, an awesome sound bar.
Bubba LOVES it becuase we always turn up the base and rock out!!!
He loves to feel the speakers when the base is good....
like black eye peas, beastie boys, Stephen wolf. :)
So, we had a dance party for about 2 hours!
We celebrated the simple blessing of Bubba going to school today!

I am so grateful for the small HUGE blessings in our lives that we have to celebrate!

Hey, have you started your Christmas shopping yet???
Well, you know that pictures are always the best gift!
I am having photo sessions this Saturday and would LOVE to shoot your family.
Go HERE and check it out!

Our kind of therapy...........

Every family has their own form of "therapy". It might be movie night snuggled up on the couch, going camping and sleeping under the stars, going to sporting events, fishing, playing games or a day at the park. Disney has ALWAYS had a special place in our hearts, it was where Jason and I had our first date. We are grateful that Bubba and Regan's love for Disney is as great as their parents. Monday we had a wonderful day at Disney and we were lucky enough to have Pa Pa and Nana come along for the fun!!!!

We were so excited to make new friends........
on the new ariel ride!!!
It was so fun and even more fun to shoot, I think I shot 50 pictures just of the ride :)

Then it was off to the Jelly Fish where......
Bubba was thrilled.. wink!
Ok, so maybe not his favorite ride.
So, we made up for it with........
with a FAVORITE!

We had such a wonderful therapy session with Pa Pa and Nana!
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
