Fun, Family, and More Fun!

Jason's sister Shawna decided at the last minute to come down from Utah with her three kids and the family dog! After the second day of Spring Break and it started to snow she was done! wink! Wow, what a brave woman... by herself in the car for 11 hours with the kids and the dog. We are enjoying our time with them while they are here!
Today we were able to go to the Santa Ana zoo with the cousins. We had LOTS of fun. Collin had school today and missed out on the fun BUT we will have so much more fun while they are here!!!

Regan and AJ have sure loved their time together.

how fun! Tell Shawna hi from me when you see her!I'm not sure yet if we will be at Regan's party. It falls at the exact same time as dance and baseball that week. Crazy!

Hi Julie and Jason-

I made a comment on your blog a while
back but my computer wouldn't post it for some reason. I have thought of you all often since I first read your blog. First let me introduce myself, my name is Becky Bailey and I am the Mother of Shannon and Mandi. I knew Jason when he was growing up and had the pleasure to be around him quite a bit since I was in the Stake Young Women's Presidency.

I so admire your family's courage and tenacity in having a special needs child. You are so strong Julie....your day never ends I imagine and you must be endlessly busy! Your children are so cute, their personalities just shine!

I had a son, who was born in 1982 and was diagnosed with Krabbe's disease, which is a rare autosommal recessive disease, which is progressive and fatal. Tyler was 8 mos. old when he passed. It wasn't till after he died that I finally met other families who had gone through the same thing as we did. I joined a National Group and was active in the chapter for a few years....Although I didn't have Tyler for very long it was still so difficult. He too suffered a great deal with seizures, intestinal cramps and eventually lost his sight and hearing. There are no words to express how difficult your days must be but I understand.....

Please tell Jason hello for me....he was always one of my favorite kids at Church! I think you both are so strong.....Your wife is so cute and sweet Jason.....

My email address is g123beck@verizon.net. I will try and post to you again.....I am writing from Shannon's computer in Arizona.....I am visiting them for a couple of weeks....

Shannon says hello to you both....

Becky
