I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!

I love any holiday that has to do with this wonderful country that we live. I admire and am so grateful for all of the men and women that fight so that I can enjoy all of the freedoms that I enjoy every single day. My father and my brother both served in the military. I will never forget the day that my brother came home from boot camp. Not only was he trim, in shape, and running every morning but he also had a different attitude, a since of pride. I am truly grateful for them and for everyone else that serves this country. I am the crazy type of mom that dresses her kids in red, white, and blue and then sports a flag t-shirt myself. Growing up in the South there was a lot of country pride. Every morning we would gather for “rise n shine” in the auditorium in elementary school. We would sing this song every morning.

God Bless The USA
by Lee Greenwood
If tomorrow all the things were gone,I’d worked for all my life.

And I had to start again, with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars,to be livin here today.

‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom, and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free.

And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,next to you and defend her still today.

‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,God bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota,to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston, and New York to L.A.

Well there's pride in every American heart, and its time we stand and say.
That I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free.

And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,next to you and defend her still today.

‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,God bless the USA.

And I’m proud to be and American, where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,next to you and defend her still today.

‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,God bless the USA.

We could not think of a better way to celebrate our Memorial Day than by enjoying our beautiful cloudy day as a family at Disney Land.

I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!!

Love the pictures in this post!

P.S.- Tell your man to keep a look out for the mailman towards the end of the week, I'm pretty sure the Graduation Fairy sent him something. Oh, and Miss Regan might wanna be around when it gets opened. :D
