Fun day!

I don't ever update this often BUT today was a fun day. Collin was not in to much pain so we were able to have some fun. We decided to go for a ride around our neighborhood. The UV was low and it was perfect. The pictures are just to cute to not put up here. I love how professional Regan looks. Collin was just happy to be OUT!

We even had to make a stop so that Regan could give kitty a snack!

When we got back from our ride we were excited to see Kara and little baby Addi waiting! Kara asked me to make Addi's hair bow for her blessing this Sunday. She was dropping off ribbon she wanted it made out of. So, of course I had to have a little treat for sweet Addi. She looked so cute in her new hair bow. This is a new style that I have been making and LOVE. She was smiling and ton and then as soon as I pulled out my camera she stopped BUT I did get some good pictures of her. Isn't she just the sweetest thing!! Brian and Kara have a beautiful baby!

Regan's 1st trip to the Dentist!!

Today was Regan's First dentist appointment. She did great!! She was VERY brave and got an A+ Check up!!! We will have to go back in a couple of weeks for her cleaning. She is getting to be such a BIG girl. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. (Side note: She picked out her own outfit for those of you that are wondering. That is a PJ top. I would not let her wear the bottoms. I have to draw the line some where. Of course she had to wear her rain boots with hearts as well! She has an amazing fashion sense!)

Regan's 4th Birthday!!!

Regan's 4th Birthday was on Saturday!! We had so much fun celebrating her on her BIG day!! It was a carnival party with lots of games, food, face painting, cotton candy, pop corn, presents and cake of course!! We had a lot of family and friends come and join us in the fun! The only bummer about the whole day was that it was HOT!!! (and of course it was in our back yard) Collin was having a hard time because of the heat and had to go in our house with the AC and cool off. I just want to say a huge thank you to my wonderful husband. He delt with Collin, cooked hot dogs inside, and made sure that I didn't have anything to worry about so that I could take care of everything

outside. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! We had some special friend come down from Corona. It was so exciting to see them. Taryn ,one of their sweet daughters, has a mitochondrial disease. It is similar to Collin's illness. We became friends several years back and I just LOVE them!! We are so grateful to everyone that came to help us party!!!

Another HUGE thank you to Ce-Ce!! You have got to be one of the best friends every!!! You did such an amazing job with the face painting!!!

Birthday part 2.....

Regan wanted to go to Bulid A Bear as a present from mommy and daddy. She LOVES that store!! She had fun picking out what ever she wanted and LOVED not having us tell her to put some back!

They even sang Happy Birthday to her and made a very BIG deal out of it! It was very sweet!!!

After Regan wanted Lemonade from Hot Dog on a Stick... Yeah I know.. I don't think she ate one thing that was good for her. Isn't that what a birthday is all about??? Over all it turned out to be a great day!! It was so fun to see everything be about her. She is so good about Collin getting so much of our attention. It was a great day!!

Fun, Family, and More Fun!

Jason's sister Shawna decided at the last minute to come down from Utah with her three kids and the family dog! After the second day of Spring Break and it started to snow she was done! wink! Wow, what a brave woman... by herself in the car for 11 hours with the kids and the dog. We are enjoying our time with them while they are here!
Today we were able to go to the Santa Ana zoo with the cousins. We had LOTS of fun. Collin had school today and missed out on the fun BUT we will have so much more fun while they are here!!!

A teacher, a great leader, a sales man or a fireman?

But there was someone who had a much bigger plan.

Don't worry my son I know what you were sent here to be.

A special gift to love and cherish just for me?.

No, you had a special mission from the day of your birth.

A special angel sent to teach of peace and love to all of us on earth.

I often sit and wonder how I can be so blessed

And If I am passing this very important test.

To love and protect someone so special and dear

To trust in God's will and trust that he is near.

Don't worry my son I will walk beside you every step

And when you are weak in my arms you will be kept.

You are my special angel and were sent to me on loan

But for all eternity a family we will be known.

Some High lights from our week!

I thought I would share some of the high lights from our week........

My Beautiful niece McKenzie and her wonderful little brother Hunter both had wonderful things to celebrate this week! We love y'all both!!!

I finally got Regan's tutu and head band made. B-day pictures taken and edited. Now I just have to make her invitations!! (Save the date... April 26th!)

We LOVE LA Galaxy and Make A Wish!!!

As most of you know Collin was granted a wish from the Make A Wish foundation three years ago. This wonderful foundation grants wishes to children with a life threatening or terminal illness. They go out of their way to make sure that incredible memories are made for the entire family that will last a life time! The amazing thing about Make A Wish is that when you become part of the Make A Wish family you will ALWAYS be part of the Make A Wish family. From time to time we receive e-mails from the Make A Wish foundation inviting us to attend special wish opportunities for wish kids. This past week received an e-mail inviting Collin and three guests to go to the opening game of the LA Galaxy soccer team. Due to the amazing generosity of Home Depot they offered their suite to the Make A Wish foundation. Then it gets even better. I received a phone call to let me know that LA Galaxy team was inviting the wish kids to come down onto the field during the team's warm up. It was such an amazing experience for everyone that went. Collin was very excited to be on the Field with his daddy. Collin also brought his PaPa and Tio Max. Max was very excited when a ball was kicked over by him and he was able to kick the ball back onto the field. They were able to meet Ruud Gullit, the coach of the LA Galaxy. As well as two amazing players Cobi Jones and Alexi Lalas. I am not sure who was more excited Collin or Daddy. David Beckham came very close to them and they were hoping that he would come over but then he seemed to strain his calves. So, it did not happen. bummer! The fun did not stop there. Then the guys went up into the Home Depot suite to watch the game. The kids even got a special visit from Cosmo the LA Galaxy team mascot. I asked Jason to describe the night for me and he said that" It was a very special once in a life time experience that I was able to share with my little boy." We are so grateful to the amazing generosity of Make A Wish, LA Galaxy, and Home Depot. Thank you for making it possible to make amazing memories that will last a life time!!!
