 The first good day that Bubba had and Hubs had the day off we PLAYED.

Where else would we go BUT....

Disney!!!

We did not plan it this way but it happened to be....



 Leap Day and there were lots of fun leap day stuff every where. :)

Daddy got the short straw and had to go on this ride...

Bubba did such a good job keeping his mask on the entire time we were there.

We did take the mask off on rides so that we could see that SMILE of his!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this sweet little girl of mine!!!!!!

Maybe she is getting tired of my big ol' camera in her face.... maybe.

The high light of the day for me was getting to go on Big Thunder with Bubba.

It is by far his favorite ride.

He laughs so hard that he just shakes and no sound comes out.

I LOVE it!

Another high light seeing Regan smile and getting to share cotton candy with her.

Before we left the park we had to say good bye to a couple of friends.........

"Cam" was coming over to Bubba and then got pulled away so he just waved and said Hi Buddy!

Everybody loves that Bubba. :)

A BIG ol' dose of Medicine.......

It is no secret that Bubba does not like to just sit around in the house. Before each break I have to plan out what we will do,this Christmas break was no different. I had it all figured out, every day there was something new and fun to do to keep the kids happy. We managed to have one fun activity with Nana and Pa Pa before Bubba got sick. Regan was so patient with every passing day and new activity that wasn't going to happen. Jason and I wanted to take the kids to Disney at least one time while they were out of school. We were hoping to go on Wed. but it came and it was obvious that Bubba was NOT ready to do anything fun yet..... Thurs. came and he started to look up....  By Fri. our boy was BACK BABY! He woke up with a smile and was grateful to be feeling good. He was not 100% but he was doing SOOOO much better. So, we decided that one last dose of medicine was needed to get our boy back to where he needed to be. He needed some magical medicine that can only be found at Disney. :) We only went for a little over an hour becuase we knew that Bubba couldn't handle much.

This is where things get EXCITING folks.

It's no secret that our Bubba LOVES roller coasters. How do we know if he can't talk you ask? Well, by that HUGE smile on his face while we are on them. Oh, yeah and the fact that we can't walk by one with out him taking his hat off, throwing it, and then reaching for the ride. Yes, he let's us know what he likes. :) Well, there is this BIG roller coaster that Bubba LOVES watching. You can just see him day dreaming as he watches it take off. Oh, and that SMILE!!! So, we were feeling brave. Ok... hubs was feeling brave, there was no way this chicken Mommy was going to do it. Hubs took Bubba on the California Screamin!!! I know CRAZY right!

 For those of you that haven't been to Disney you might be wondering what the big deal is.

Well, this roller coaster is HUGE!!! 

Oh, and it has one of THESE.

Yes, my baby boy was upside down!!!

When they took off my hands were SHAKING, I was so nervous!!

What if he doesn't like... it's not like they can stop it half way around.

Regan looked at me and said "Mommy my tummy is nervous!!!"

I told her that my tummy was nervous too.

The boys got back and I got a thumbs up from Daddy!

WAHOO!!! He said that he smiled the entire time.

I can't wait to go on that ride with him when he is feeling 100%.

After that exciting ride Bubba was worn out!

I took Regan to a store to pick out a "best big/ little sister in the whole wide world" treat

and then we were on the road headed home. :)

What a GREAT way.....

to end the weekend!!!!

We woke up to a wonderful cloudy morning!!!

{It could not have been better Bubba weather.}

We got there as soon as Disney opened.

They only bummer......

Regan didn't want to go with us....

BUT this cute little girl named Alice came in her place. :)

And she had a tea party with a white rabbit.

Only one more day of summer left before school starts.

Ready or not here it comes.

Dear Mr. Weather Man,

Thank you so much for letting us know about the great weather!  Oh, and for being right about it! When you told us that it would be cloudy all morning and only 70 degrees I knew that there was only thing that we could do to celebrate this beautiful weather..... Why go to Disneyland of course!!!!!  Daddy had the day off and  we didn't take Bubba to school, nope instead we played! It was a much needed family fun day. It was beautiful and cloudy, a PERFECT Bubba kind of day!!!!

 His hair started falling out so he got a buzz.

My sweet little princess, oh how I love her!!! 

Bubba and I got LOTS of special time together.

Daddy came to the rescue and gave her cuddles while Bubba and I flew.}

Regan and I cuddled on Small world. :)

I wish that Regan loved rollercoasters as much as her Bubba, some day. 

You know it's a good day when you get a HUGE corndog. :)

Sweet little Bubba started vomiting EVERY where.

He did not want to leave but his body was worn out and not being kind to him.

It doesn't take much lately to wear him out.

I am so grateful for the smiles and happy moments that we got today.

Our kind of therapy...........

Every family has their own form of "therapy". It might be movie night snuggled up on the couch, going camping and sleeping under the stars, going to sporting events, fishing, playing games or a day at the park. Disney has ALWAYS had a special place in our hearts, it was where Jason and I had our first date. We are grateful that Bubba and Regan's love for Disney is as great as their parents. Monday we had a wonderful day at Disney and we were lucky enough to have Pa Pa and Nana come along for the fun!!!!

It was so fun and even more fun to shoot, I think I shot 50 pictures just of the ride :)

Then it was off to the Jelly Fish where......

Bubba was thrilled.. wink!

Ok, so maybe not his favorite ride.

So, we made up for it with........

with a FAVORITE!

We had such a wonderful therapy session with Pa Pa and Nana!
