"I am sorry Mrs. Presley but I don't think he will ever sit up, walk, talk... or well do much."
This is what a doctor told me when Collin was little. If only that doctor could see him now. No, he isn't walking or talking BUT he has learned to adapt and do so much more than I had ever dreamed!!!! I will never forget the first time that I was telling an aid in Collin's pre-school class how he had gotten into trouble the day before. She looked at me and said "isn't that wonderful!!!". For most kids it is awful to see them have a temper tantrum in the store over a toy or do something that they know they shouldn't BUT with Bubba it is wonderful. Something as simple as getting his little hands to manipulate a lock is AMAZING!!
I LOVE my little Trouble Maker {and his side kick!}

aww! yay!!! your kids are precious and amazing!
Looks like you are going to have to put a lock up higher now!
That is so cute! Don't you love when they prove the doctors wrong? Great job Bubba!
That is so awesome! The look on his face was priceless!!! But the thought of Caleb learning to open doors scares me to death! :) He likes to bang them but hasn't quite managed the getting back open part.
Dear Collin,
We want you to make lots of trouble for your mommy. We can't wait to see you and we are so proud of you! We are cheering for you! You make us smile.
Love,
Gavin, Aj and Sydney
Dear Aunt Juju,
You might want to get some child-locks for your door before Collin escapes. I know because I do it all the time.
Love,
Aj
Yay Collin!!!
Now it makes sense why Regan was saying Collin can unlock the door in our Sunday School class! That's awesome! :)
